Second Thoughts

What Has Mary Lee been feeding Tim??!
I'm not about to go toe-to-toe with PCA pastor Tim Bayly in disagreement over something as trivial as an internet article, even though he has taken strong exception to the "Quiet Time Guilt" article I recommended a few posts ago. Why? Because if I did something like that, it would look a lot like the above picture, and I don't want to end up like that small kid - crushed into a fine, powdery substance by the sheer force of his superior biblical knowledge and raw intellect.

OK, actually the real reason is that Pr. Bayly's criticisms are worth considering, and he has forced me to have some second thoughts about some of its contents. I encourage our readers to read through the comments section on his blog article:

...the admixture of truth and error ultimately renders this piece unsalvageable except as an exercise in the practice of that most-neglected-of-all-spiritual-gifts, discernment.

So what are you still doing at this blog? Get over there and check it out.
